Well, another black Friday come and gone. And guess what came with it. Death. What in the world did Wal-Mart have that was so special that all those people showed up thinking they were going to get it?
I mean, damn, that's something I will not do, stand in line to get something. It happens every year, the stores have something on sale and they only get a few in and knowing that people are going to show up looking for these items. I hold the store partly responsible along with the people that stomped that guy to death. Did you read what some people said when they were told the store was closing because someone was killed? Some said'' I waited in line all morning to get in and I'm not leaving'', and they continued to shop.
Someone was quoted as calling the people storming into the store as savages. No, those people knew what they were doing. Other employees tried to help and some where hurt, why all the pushing and shoving. I hope the police will find out the identity of all the people who stomped and killed that worker. He didn't deserve to die like that, just doing his job. Wal-Mart and all these stores having all these so called Black Friday deals should be held responsible when someone dies or is hurt. It's just gotten way out of hand, it needs to stop now. There is not a deal out there worth someone dying for!

Let's Help One Another

With the way things are going now, there will be more people( mostly children) that will go hungry tonight. At Food Lion at the registers they have can/box food you can buy and they put in in a huge box to give to the food banks. I will be standing in line watching people, the cashier asks if they want to donate to the food bank. You would not believe that these people will not even buy a can of food to the food bank.
I have been in only one time that I have not bought something to donate. Sure things are tight at my house but I feel like I can give a couple cans or a couple food items to help out. I hope that if I ever need the help from the food bank I could get it. But no one can get help if people like us don't donate. I'm no saint, but if I see someone and they ask me for money I try to give them a couple of bucks. I know there are scams ran everyday, but you never know when that someone that really needs it asks for your help...so I give, hoping that the person that asks for it really needs it.
People need to help out more, we need to help someone when they put their hand out. This year I want to open my home at Christmas and invite a couple of military personal that don't have any family around here to share the day with us. It may not be much, but, to me it's a start to put my hand out to help someone else.

Bailouts
Bailouts. Will they ever end??? So many companies with their hands out...give me, give me, give me. Please. I'm tired of the tax payers bailing out companies. Look at the banks. They got a lot of money supposedly to help with the mortgage crisis, to lend money out. Guess what? It ain't happening.
They are holding on to the money with a tight fist, looking their nose down on people. How can we give you money and you might not be able to pay it back...looks who's talking. They have enough nerve to question if anyone can pay them back when they themselves ran their banks into the ground. They went to Congress and asked for help, Congress gave them OUR MONEY, to help out some of these people that are going to lose their homes without help. Is the banks going to help them? A BIG FAT NO.
Now the three big auto makers wants money. The Democrats reasoning behind helping them out is the tens of thousands jobs that will be lost if with don't shell out money to them. That $700 billion didn't stop people from losing their jobs, their homes. So, what makes us think it's going to save jobs by bailing them out. Businesses in my area are closing down or laying off people, is Congress going to come here and bail them out...I don't think so.
So, let's all write, shout, tell these people in Washington NO MORE BAIL OUTS!!!!!

Enough Already!!!!
I'm not talking about politics today. My thought for today is...Why are people so obsessed with why and when Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt became an item? I mean really, who cares if Jennifer and Brad were still married when the affair began. These people are human after all, and as we all know''shit happens''. Angelina Jolie is a good and kind person..what I have read about her!!! She puts her money and her time where her mouth is(old expression).
She gives her money to people and charities, she is always working on something for some cause or another( along with /Brad now). She was doing this before she met Brad Pitt and now they are both doing good. This article that Jennifer Aniston is talking about now was in a magazine last year. Why talk about it now? Could it be she has two movies coming out and lets face it, she's not as popular or as talented as Angelina? I don't read anything about Jennifer doing this for someone or some cause. The only time you read about her is when she starts seeing someone or is breaking up with someone. And of course when she has another movie coming out.
Shouldn't she be tired of playing the victim in this that happened over 2/3 yrs ago? Why keep slamming a dead issue in the ground? I have never been crazy about an actor/actress, I know they are just people with faults & flaws just like us. If the affair started when Brad and Jennifer were married, why just blame it on Angelina? Why not put some of the blame where it lies...on Brad? A happy and strong marriage will survive a flirtation because a marriage is basted on more than sexual feelings.
So, please, stop talking about it, because, frankly I'm tired of hearing it.

Things Won't Change
Obama ran on that Change. How are things going to change? It will be the same ole crap. I wrote yesterday that I hope we could all pull together, but after all the media coverage SINCE the election I'm just sick to my stomach.
I love my country but if I had the money I would pack up and move out of here. Things are not going to get better, things are going to get bad. All this stuff that's floating around on the net about Obama should have been brought to light, but, alas it wasn't. A lot of people will tell you'' You can't believe everything you read'' , most people believe that which amazes me. Because to put this out for the world to see it has to have an ounce of truth to it.
I can't get past the fact that he went to church for twenty years listening to sermons on hate and when he starts to run for office he pleads outrage at the preacher and makes a big show about leaving the church. Well, people put him in office and now the rest of us will suffer. I know Bush wasn't a great President, hell, he will go in the history books as one of the worst ones.
That's another thing that makes me stew a little. Everyone is talking about history being made with him becoming our President, the first black one and these same people are telling us that our History ....the civil war should be forgotten... with the South and their confederate flag. No matter how hard you try to erase it, the confederate flag was a part of our history. Just because a group of stupid people decide to use it for their cause doesn't change OUR HISTORY.
So, my thought for today is, you people that voted for Obama will see that you were duped and we all will pay the price and leave our History alone.

Hoping for the best now!
Now we have a new President elect, let's all pull together and hope for the best for OUR COUNTRY.Because it is our country no matter what party you are in or if you're in one or not.
We need to pull together so we can show the world that we will be behind this new President elect, and we he becomes our President we'll be there to show him our support. I did not vote for him because of a few issues but I'm willing to give him a try.
To me the most powerful thing in the world is not the missiles, the countries with the nuclear bombs. WORDS is the most powerful thing. Why, do you ask? Because words is what sets everything that happens to us in motion. It's what gets one person pissed off with another person. Words came spew hate and once it's said it's out there, it's hard to erase.
Words can spread love and it can spread hope to someone. So, I'm hoping that all the words that came from Mr. Obama will be ones that he will carry out and not made just to be elected. So, Mr. Obama I'm hoping for the best from you for our country and for my family members that just lost their jobs because the company they worked for just closed down. My words my not make a difference to anyone but I said them because that's the way that I feel.

Voted Today
Well, I did it. I got out this morning and was at the polls when they opened up at 6:00. I was there an hour & 20 minutes...it was worth it. My husband Razz got up and got there before me and voted and went to work.
He wasn't going to vote this time around but he changed his mind and went and voted for John McCain too. He said it was just to important not to be heard. I agree with him. If I'm wrong about Obama I will admit it...but, I don't think I am, but who knows.
I have never seen such a turn out before like this. Usually when I go to vote I'm there maybe 10 minutes total. People just didn't go to vote, but not this time. No matter who wins he will have a job on his hands to get us back on our feet. The world is watching this election, some with evil intentions while others with concern about their future with us.
All that really matters is that whomever wins should know we must stand together to be stronger. Together we can change the way things are done in this country.

Getting closer
Well, tomorrow is D-Day as I call it. A article appeared in our paper the other day about Mr. Obamas aunt that lives here in this country illegally. She was denied asylum four years ago...but guess what....she's still here living in New York. In a newspaper article that I read a couple months back it he said he wants to give the illegal immigrates amnesty. Now I know why, because of his aunt. You have seen people in office raked through the coals for having a nanny or housekeeper that's here illegally so why hasn't this been brought up.
Well, I'm going to vote tomorrow and I'll vote for McCain, if Obama wins more power to him and if he does a good job then I'll say good job, way to go. He already shows that he will help out a family member if he's in office when knowing she should have been sent back when she was told no.
