Man..... I'm so tired of all the crap that is going on in Washington. Just get over yourselves and get to work on making our great country great again. They want us to spend money but the dumb asses can't seem to get it through their heads if people don't have jobs they can't but anything. The housing markets are not getting better, it's getting worse because people DON"T HAVE JOBS!!!!
Cooper Vision in Norfolk Va. is closing shop and moving overseas to England. These cities court these companies to come to the city with tax breaks, sometimes help buying property and then they move overseas. We need to start slamming these damn companies with fines make them pay the employees money for shutting their doors and leaving. How can we get back on the right track if we continue to allow them to pay up and move so they can still make a profit but leave us high and dry. ENOUGH already.
Get this in Norfolk Virginia the city is fighting two night clubs, they padlocked the doors after the city counsel voted to take their liquor license from them. They courted these clubs to come to Waterside and open up but now everybody wants a'' family atmosphere'' they had one club evicted from Waterside. Everybody is going to wind up suing one another and there goes the tax payers money down the drain.
I'm so over this ''family atmosphere'' crap. The children shouldn't be out that late anyway. Everyone is getting so high and mighty about what they think should be or not. Instead of trying to close down businesses that they think aren't right for their image the should fix the drainage problems going on there. Everything it rains heavy there there's major flooding. Just last week they had 4-6 inches of rain come down in certain areas and caused flooding. They have people losing most of their personal things while they worry about ''their image''. Why turn on a business because it stopped suiting you purpose? Things need to change but they won't......

Empty Promises!!!
The dreaded health care issue. It's going to be a big failure. I think it's a dream for everyone at this point. People are out of work and they are talking about putting a fine/fee on you if you don't have a plan. How in the hell can people afford it if they're now working? My oldest son doesn't have it at his current job. They don't have enough people for a plan.
He starts a new job next week that does offer it to you but even then he can afford to buy it. He just makes enough money to get by, barley able to pay his bills. He cut out smoking and buying soft drinks. When I was working I had to have insurance because I'm a diabetic and when I quit work I checked into the same plan with the same insurance company---here's what they told me. I was paying $252. and some change at work--- but out of my pockets not working---$753. and change. That's over $500.00 dollars more than what I was paying.
It's crazy the way these insurance companies can rip you off and get away with it. My mother went to a kidney doctor and made another appointment for sometime this month, she got her bill from them and she cancelled her appointment. She told me her bill was for well over $1200.00. She lives with my sister and she gets S.S. , that's it. She still has to buy separate insurance, so she's not getting anything for free. She has quit going to alot of doctors now because she just can't afford to go.
Some in the government wants to put a tax on soft drinks with sugar in them....saying that will stop alot of kids from becoming obese and maybe stop them from becoming a diabetic. I wasn't obese and I became a diabetic. I have a family history on both sides of my bloodline of having diabetes. My mother, my uncle(father's side), a couple aunts(mother's side) and my two brothers. So taxing soft drinks is just another way for the government to tell us what to eat or drink, just like they were on that kick about fast food is bad for you. You should have the right to eat what you want to without someone telling you-----you can't have that----I'm big brother, you don't have enough sense to know what is right for you so I'm going to tell you. What a bunch of bull hockey? You know what's bad for us lately, the big brother telling us what to do all the time..... I'm over putting people in office and each time they are no better than the one before them. Just a bunch of empty promises to get elected and point at each other when things are not done as they are promised.
