I know whom I'm voting for thanks to someone that has shown me something that I didn't know before. I have been up in the air , back and forth from one to another. But in the end it comes down to whom you think will protect us ALL and our country and I now know that it will be John McCain. I'm still scared about Palin, but I'm more terrified to put Obama in office.
Why is it that we as a country have to be separated? Why can't we all work and pull together to protect one another? You see someone fall you stop and help them up. Right? Well, to me that's what has happened to us....the USA...we have fallen and it will take everyone to help get us back on our feet. So, I'm putting out my hand on the fourth of November to John McCain to get us back on our feet.

I just read your comments over at the blog Did I Miss Something. Based on some quotes that were attributed to Obama, you said that you would be voting for McCain. Before you do, I think you should do a little research on those so called quotes. For one thing, most of them are taken out of context. Furthermore, one of the quotes supposedly by Obama isn't. If you want to read the full story about these quotes, here is a link that might interest you:

Because there is so much information out there, it's hard to separate fact from fiction. For example, Google the term "racist John McCain" and you will likely be disturbed by what you find. According to the book "The Real McCain", he once called his wife Cindy not only a trollop, but he used the dreaded "C" word as well.
Are these allegations about McCain true? Maybe, maybe not. Just to be clear, my intention isn't to sway you to vote for Obama. Instead, look at the issues and then decide whether Obama or McCain is the right man for the job. I know that my comments may have made your decision harder. However, I couldn't stand by and let the "Obama quote debacle" slide without saying something. Thank you.
I have read alot about both sides. I really don't like either one 100%, but I feel like I have to go with the strongest one. Everyone is a bit racist at one time or another. It's if you continue to carry on with that way of life that's really bad. I can honestly say that I'm not against Obama for his race, because I grew up in the country and some of our closet neighbors( like 3-4 miles) were black & Mrs. Battle was the kindest, sweetest lady around.
She let us spend the nights at her house when my daddy was out drinking and my mother was at work. I am hoping I am making the right choice by what I am hearing and what I'm reading. But you never really know someone that tells you what they think you want to know just to get elected.
