We want your passwords & user names, what the hell????

We have known for years now that big brother is watching your every move. Now we have the city of Bozeman Montana asking job applicants for their user names and passwords to all their Internet social networking sites and their web groups they belong to. Why should we give in to these people that are working for us. Are you going to give us your user names and passwords for us to see?? No, I think not.

The city argues that it only uses the information to verify application information... they even go on to state that they won't hold it against anyone for refusing to provide it to them. PLEASE, who do they think they're kidding. They will be thinking in the terms of-If they don't want to give use this what is it that they're hiding-. Hell, maybe it's that it's none of your business what my passwords and users names are. It's bad enough that some cities asks that their employees not smoke even at home and there has been cases of if you're caught you will be fired. I don't smoke but I'll be damned if I'll have my boss telling me what I can and can't do in my own home.

In Norfolk Va., city next to where I live was knocking on doors wanting to come in and see inside your home...just to see if you have recently done repairs to your home or not. They say your home assessments won't go up...but then Real Estate Assessor Deborah Bunn said the door-to-door inspections helped her office provide more accurate assessments. They are just trying to squeeze every penny they can from someone. What happens if that person was recently laid off had time on their hands and decided to paint, make the place look better. They come in and see that it looks better than the outside of the home and they are like we have to have more money from you...this place is looking to good for what the home is said to be worth.

This has to stop, we are paying out money now for everyone of their LITTLE PROJECTS, you know the ones, where they don't benefit us but the do with someone with money. We are not safe anymore from Big Brother and it's only going to get worse because we have these people that think they know what's best for us. Yeah, what's best for me is for you to do your job and stay out of my home and leave my user names and my passwords alone. If it wasn't meant to be private they won't have said'' password'' to get in.

that's right! we need to keep our independence and privacy from the greedy hands of our superiors.

our lives shouldn't be on their agenda in any negative ways, breeding their corrupt agendas.

and good comment.
and what I said above doesn't contradict such statements because these people in power aren't interested in us as people, but as consumers etc.
